I just purchased a Eton portable bluetooth sounds system with solar charger for use on the patio and boat. We were using a CD radio that needed to be plugged into the house. This mean you had to place it near the plug and when you unplugged it it lost your radio station.

When I seen the Eton solar powered speaker I though what a great idea. We only want to use it on sunny days so this would be great.
Most vendors are moving to blue tooth for the interface instead of the docking plug so they can be used with all devices.
Inputs: You can use the AUX plug or bluetooth.
Charging: Solar or with the included power charger.
What I like is that you can also use it as a power supply for your iPhone or other usb device.
Since there is no radio built into the unit it must has a music source. I usually use my iPhone via bluetooth or my iPod watch plugged into the AUX port.

This is a great unit and has many uses beyond just a speaker since it can be used as a power source.
The only thing I would love to see is to have it automatically charge when there is enough sun. Unless I am missing something it only charges when I turn it on, and the charging symbol lights up, and then turn it off again. The I could just set it on the window till I want to use it knowing it would be fully charged.
4 1/2 out of 5 . 1/2 off for not automatically charging.
