Review: D-Link Wireless-N IP Camera (DCS-932L)

The D-Link Wireless-N IP Camera (DCS-932L) is a great camera.  Easy to setup and use and has a iPhone App to view your camera when away.  The video is 640 X 480 .  It works great at night  range of up to 5 metres (due to Infrared LEDs) in total darkness or long range with a light source.

You can access the video anytime, anywhere you have Internet access and works overtime.

It also has a built-in microphone, so you can see and hear everything remotely.

Infrared LEDs and infrared cut filter combine to allow you to see what is happening even if the room is completely dark

You can set  alerts for movement that can be sent to an email or uploaded to a FTP server.

The newly updated iPhone and iPad app works great.

The interface needs Java that is always causing problems.  The website is a typical dlink router interface that works OK.

Five Stars

You can’t find a better value.  At $99 this is 1/3 – 1/5 the cost of other network camera.  They many have higher quality but this is a solid camera that works at a great price.
